Please Note… Alberta Education Curriculum Survey Dear Parents and Guardians, As Alberta Education makes plans for a new curriculum, parents and other stakeholders are being asked to provide input by filling out the following questionnaire and we encourage you to do so. The questionnaire asks generic questions using descriptors such as diversity, inclusive, equitable, respect and curiosity which may cause some concern in light of the direction that has come from Alberta Ed in the last year. Please fill out the text box at the end of the survey and show your support for these things within the context of a private school Christian Education. http://fluidsurveys.com/s/curriculumsurvey/ Tips for Drivers It is important to be cautious when driving to help protect our students. As a means to this end, please review the following tips: 1. Reduce speed allow plenty of time to get to school so that you do not feel the need to speed on your way to school or in the school parking lot; 2. Stop for school buses to allow children to exit the bus safely; 3. Obey crossing guards; 4. Follow the direction of entering/exiting the school parking lot and the one way/dropoff lanes; 5. Practice patience in the parking lot but especially important when turning onto 144th Avenue. Thank you for keeping our students safe. Family Statements Family statements have been sent out with your children (Jr K Grade 9). High School will be mailed out. Only families that have outstanding fees (besides tuition) will receive a statement. ALL OUTSTANDING ITEMS WILL BE HIGHLIGHTED for your convenience. If you have any questions please feel free to email [email protected] For the safety of our students, school doors will be locked during the school day. Parents are expected to enter by the front doors of the school and signin at the front office. If you are picking up your child early, please also stop in at the office. Office staff will contact your child’s teacher and have them meet you at the office where you will sign them out. Thank you for helping to make our school a safe place.
