10 Challenges to get the most fun out of your passport

10 Challenges
to get the most fun
out of your passport
“The Fun University ... a brilliant way to get children inspired,” The Sunday Times
Now that you have your Passport to Learning, it’s time to start earning stamps!
Below are 10 ideas to get the most out of it, and to try lots of different experiences.
1. Set a goal
To get started it is a good idea to set a
target for how many hours you should
aim to earn by the end of term. This
will get you motivated to try different
activities, sign up to new clubs and
visit Learning Destinations.
2. Discover all the Learning
Destinations across Norfolk
Take a look on our Norfolk CU website
to find a comprehensive list of all the
Learning Destinations across Norfolk.

3. Visit your local library
Every library in Norfolk is a validated
Learning Destination. There are
various ways in which children can
earn stamps: taking part in reading
challenges, completing activity sheets
and attending workshops. For more
information visit

5. Join your local Guides or
Scouting Groups
A brilliant way to meet new friends and
participate in a wide range of activities
is to join your local Guides and Scouts.
You can earn stamps by completing
skills badges and participating in
learning activities during weekly
meetings.
4. Visit a museum
Norfolk has lots of fantastic museums.
Using your Passport to Learning you
can earn stamps and gain free
entrance to 9 museums, including: The
Bridewell, Norwich Castle, Time & Tide
and Gressenhall.
6. Join a new club
Within your school (and local area)
there are a wide range of Learning
Destinations where children can earn
stamps. This includes lunchtime and
after school cubs as well as local
clubs, such as swimming schools,
martial art classes, music lessons and
many more. For a full list, visit our
website or speak to your teacher about
school clubs.
7. Complete the School Holidays
Activity Challenges
During the school holidays the Norfolk
CU team create activity sheets to keep
children learning. The challenges can
be easily completed at home and each
activity earns a stamp. Challenges
Include lots of fun ideas such as,
baking, collecting and creating
collages, researching historical figures
and many more.
8. Visit a tourist attraction
There are many great tourist
attractions around the county where
you can earn stamps. This includes
becoming an underwater expert at the
Sea Life Centre in Great Yarmouth
and completing activity trails at
Oxborugh Hall.
