Writing term papers // plagiarism




If you attend a seminar and need a mark and the
ECTS, you will probably have to write a term paper
Please note: Do not copy anything from the internet
or any literature without quoting it correctly!
All citations have to be quoted correctly. Copying a
text without quoting its source is plagiarism.
Plagiarism is cheating, consequence: 0 points (=fail)
Use scientific literature for a term paper!
If you do not know how or where to find it or
how to quote correctly, please ask your teachers.
16
prolongation & transcript of
records
17



You will get a transcript of records with your marks
and ECTS at the end of your studies at JLU.
For courses that are not in FlexNow: hand us in the
teacher’s certificate/confirmation with your mark (by
email or in printed form)
If you leave Giessen before you know all of your
marks, please ask the teachers to send them to us
18
Before you leave the hall of residence, a
caretaker will have a look at your room.
If everything is ok, he will give you a paper
that you’ll have to show the Studentenwerk
to get back your security deposit.
If you leave on a weekend, you should go and
see the Studentenwerk until Friday, 12
o’clock.
