General
VET Maths 1
This program has been written to meet the needs of students who are interested in pursuing an
industry pathway (e.g. Automotive Engineering, Doorways to Construction, Electrical Technology &
Engineering).
Section 1 consists of a basic generic mathematics course to improve the skills common to all industry
areas. Everyone needs to complete this section.
Section 2 involves more specialised training in an industry pathway. Complete one industry area only,
either one that interests you or one that matches the VET program you are doing.
This is a single unit of Stage 1 Mathematics.
