BUILDING NEW
Back to Business, Back to Basics: The key to success as a leader is duplicating exactly what you did to
get here. Don’t stop completing the steps that got you to where you are now. It’s MORE important
today to practice these basic business-building techniques to ensure your team follows.
Remember, actions speak louder than words, so act and your team will follow!
People do what you do, not what you say.
Complete your Steps to Success EVERY MONTH and be loud about it, even if you miss
the mark. That’s leadership too!
4 Loyal Customers:
3 Distributors:
1.
1.
2.
2.
3.
3.
4.
Party your way to profits.
Party out loud. Include others, and post about it. Your team will follow your actions.
1:1, Home Parties, Online, Events, Coffee Shop, etc…. It doesn’t matter where or how you have
a Wrap Party; the key is for you to have them every month. The more Wrap Parties you and
your team have, the more Distributors all of you will recruit.
Set your Monthly Goals:
•
•
•
•
•
How many people will I Blitz?
How many people do I want to Wrap?
How many people will I contact daily?
How will I expand my 100’s list daily?
What am I doing for personal development?
Remember, your team is watching you and will be duplicating your actions, so lead by example.
The pace of the leader is the pace of the pack. How fast is your team GOing?
SUPPORTING
YOUR TEAM
(DEVELOP YOUR TOP 10)
TOP 10 – Work smarter, not harder! You can do anything, but you can’t do everything!
Back to Business, Back to Basics: Who do you need to work with this month? Who are your
GO Getters? Who do you need to work with to rank advance? Who do you need to work with
to increase your check? As you identify your Top 10, remember that those who do not fall into
this category can still be GO Getters and benefit from your support. Invest time in your team
members who are working their business.
This list isn’t to exclude anyone on your team, but to allow for you to intentionally focus on your
builders. The entire team will be able to benefit by plugging into what you're doing.
#WorkSmarterNotHarder
1. Every month, develop your Top 10 list. This list will be your top GO Getters for the month
who will help you hit that next goal, bonus, rank, etc.
2. Reach out and let them know you see how hard they are working to build their business.
You have 10 spots for coaching this month, so let them know you have chosen them for
one of those spots and hold them accountable every week.
3. Schedule standing weekly GO Time ZOOMs with your Top 10 in the first week of every month:
a. Set guidelines and expectations up front
b. Talk about their GO Game Plan:
i. Blitzing
ii. Wrap Parties
iii. OTOM
iv. 1:1’s
v. Social Media
LEAD YOUR TEAM
We don’t manage, we LEAD! To lead is an action.
There are many ways that you will continue to develop and grow your team. Below are core
fundamentals that you will want to focus on every month.
1. Hold a monthly team meeting via ZOOM or in person:
• Hold meeting at the beginning of the month to go through the monthly game plan.
• These can be held via ZOOM or in person:
o Keep meeting to less than 1 hour if on conference call or ZOOM.
o Keep meeting to less than 2 hours if in person.
• Share your month’s goals with the team and have them set theirs.
2. Reward the right behavior.
•
•
•
•
Recognize top recruiters and top partiers.
Recognize and raise up emerging leaders.
Recognize new promotions.
Share success tips on how to GO Fast.
3. One Team One Mission:
•
•
•
•
•
•
Host or Co-Host monthly or every other month.
Event should be 1 - 1.5 Hours
Begin hosting at Triple Diamond rank
Smaller OTOMs are just as impactful as large ones; don’t wait for a large group to hold one.
Expenses are minimal and if you get creative, this may cost nothing.
Encourage team members to bring guests. These are great opportunities for guests
to learn about It Works! products and the business opportunity. It will also cast the
vision for guests and new team members of what is possible with It Works!–real people
getting real results.
• If you teach the Compensation Plan or hold a Q&A, before or after the event, add a
break between sessions.
4. Mini Bootcamps
• Host or Co-Host 1–2 times a year max.
• Be mindful of other Boot Camps being hosted in your area
If what you are doing is not following the 3 R’s (Retention, Revenue, and Recognition)
then you should not be doing it.

DOWNLINE
What is a Legendary Leader?
At It Works! we make the uncommon common. We make the impossible, possible. We take the
ordinary and make it extraordinary. Here at It Works!, we make leadership legendary.
A Legendary Leader is one who finds the way, makes the way, and leads the way.
Most importantly, they lead themselves.
At times the hardest person to lead is yourself. Be a lifelong learner. You are constantly pouring into
others, so make sure you are staying filled the right way.
Healthy ways to do that are to focus on:
• Being a lifelong learner
• Who you are spending the most time with.
• Who your accountability partner is.
• Who are you allowing to influence you.
• Don't forget Daily gratitude (ie; I get to, rather than I have to).
How do you GO to the next level with anything? You change your mindset!
Success in anything is 80% psychology and 20% mechanics.
Believe you can succeed and have a GO Getter work ethic. Don’t let your mind (fear) hold you back!
