Welcome to the 6th Annual Armadale Community
Football Club Tournament
We're passionate about football, and since 2010 hundreds of teams have
gathered from across the country to experience the unique atmosphere that is
cultivated during the annual Armadale football tournaments. We invite you
and your team to come and experience it first hand and look forward to
welcoming you in 2016.
This year we hope to have over 170 teams from all over Scotland and further
playing over 9 days on Saturday 4th June and Sunday 12th June 2016.
We are delighted again to be using Armadale Academy Sports Hub in Armadale
with both 3g astro and grass pitches for soccer 7 teams (born 2007 to 2005). In
addition a full days football for development 11's (2004) and competitive
sections for 11's teams born 2002 & 2003. SYFA qualified referees being used
for all games.
The club will be operating a park and ride to ease possible congestion on the
weekend of 11th, 12th June to ensure you arrive on time at the respective
venue.
This year as part of the clubs ongoing health projects we will be providing all
players free water during the tournament days.
There will also be other activities for players and spectators on each day. If you
want to be part of one of the biggest SYFA approved tournaments in Scotland
then get your application form in as soon as possible.
Come and join the fun!
Tournaments Plan
Please note this is a non-competitive tournament for 7's, all players will be considered
winners and receive a festival medal. The object of the tournament is to promote football.
We have up to 11 pitches available this year and therefore can be flexible on the day teams
can play. If a team wishes to play both days or can't make their age group day then this may
also be possible*. All teams are guaranteed at least 5 games on the day.
11's football teams will play in a competitive tournament with the opportunity to win one of
two possible trophies. The exception to this is the 2004 age group which will play
development 11’s.

Rate your team
We appreciate there is little point in experienced teams playing others
teams who may have just started playing. We will do our best to match
your team to others of similar ability. It is therefore really important you
complete this part of the registration form. Can you also indicate on the
form which league you play in, we'd rather you had new opponents to play
and this information helps.
For teams with players born 2007, we appreciate you may have just started
playing seven a side football and therefore teams would be rated the same.
Entry forms can be emailed if you are paying entry directly into the
club bank account. Email address for entries is

Could you thank everyone involved in the planning and organisation of your tournament on
behalf of East Kilbride Burgh United 2004's. A lot of work obviously went in to making it
the success it was. Our boys really enjoyed playing in it, which is the main thing. Teams
were well matched and games played in the correct manner.....well done
