Chipcards, also known as smartcards, are in daily use by everybody.
They serve as electronic wallets or
are employed for work time-recording
purposes and they open doors - the
latter being the so-called „physical access“, where the user holds the card
in front of an electronic card reader.
On the other side, chipcards grant
access to PCs, protected applications
and much more – this is the so-called „logical access“, where the card
is introduced into a PC. Until today,
these functions had been mutually
exclusive, i.e., smartcards were either
used to access rooms and buildings
or to access data. Often, this resulted
in an overwhelming amount of cards
cluttering briefcases, purses and glove
compartments.
Smartcards are true all-stars
Our card management systems combine all functions required for the
secure generation and administration
of smartcards and digital certificates.
Going one step further, our solutions
marry logical and physical access – an
unprecedented global innovation designed to make your smartcard a true
jack-of-all-trades. The future belongs
to multifunction smartcards that combine physical access to buildings and
logical access to IT systems.
High expectations, elegant solution
The more functions a smartcard has,
the higher the performance required

The framework
Workflow
Management
Is used to administrate, manage and monitor all steps of the process. It also ensures that
existing processes and manual operations are integrated into the workflow.
Lifecycle
Management
Provides information about the status of a chipcard at any given time and about chip applications stored on the card. Also allows for cards to be repersonalized after having been generated.
Order management and
logging service
All orders are fully tracked and managed from the time orders are received to the time the
cards are handed over to their eventual users. The logging function records all activities
and events in a data base, subsequent changes to this data being impossible.
Role-based user
administration
Thanks to role-based user administration, our card management system employs a dual
control principle when a particularly high security level must be ensured.
PINs/TAN lists
The system includes functions for order management and production management as well
as for generating and printing PINs and TAN lists.
Key Management
Our card management systems have an integrated module and an interface for the
incorporation of cryptographic functions and the connection to CAs.
Innovative software, attractive price
All our card management system‘s software
components adapt perfectly to your corporate needs and to your existing infrastructure.
Another plus is that our system is future-proof:
its readily developed software modules adapt
easily to changing needs in your company,
e.g., a higher order volume. At the same time,
it does not stretch your corporate budget.
Smartcard, easy administration
Disabled cards, lost cards, forgotten PINs?
Not a problem - our helpdesk assistant solves
these little mishaps in no time at all. We believe that smartcards should be able to do a
lot of things, while their administration should
be a breeze. This increases the comfort of
use and user acceptance. Our systems have
been tried and tested in the real world, yielding excellent results and making everybody‘s
life easier.

systems consist of fully compatible software
modules designed to control all necessary
processes, from the card production to their
personalization, enabling and disabling them
as well as generating visitor and replacement
cards. Since all workflow processes can be
defined at will, the card management systems
integrate seamlessly into all existing system
environments. This makes the systems easy
to use and reduces introduction costs.
