Play Time! Kroom Melrose Dollhouse www.krooom.com Reviewed by Michelle Wright Although the house comes flat packed all of the assembly instructions are illustrated on the back of the box making a quick visual reference all you need. To assemble the whole house and the accessories, it only took me 45 mins and it was great that my daughter could get involved in that part too! The main part of the dollhouse just slots together but is surprisingly very sturdy and strong. The cardboard is printed in lovely fresh colours making the room decor in the dollhouse really bright and modern, with added props such as pictures and curtains printed onto the walls. It even includes a 14 piece furniture set including chairs, tables and beds, which again slot together every easily. It really is a very clever, quality product which currently has pride of place in my daughter’s bedroom! Roaring Raa Raa Lion Roaring Raa Raa Lion www.tomy.co.uk Reviewed by Sandra Reynolds LEGO Duplo Creative Cakes duplo.lego.com Reviewed by Lucy Knight Wow! What a great product. I found this to have much more play time in it that normal Lego or building blocks. It has a theme to it so it is a lot more interesting for my little girl. She loves singing happy birthday and blowing on the candles. We make big cakes and little cupcakes, we even have tea parties. I had a few of my daughters friends play with this set too and they loved it. The box says it is suitable for 2-5 year olds but our 7 year old neighbour still had fun playing with this set. 20 As soon as we got him out he was on the floor, I read the instructions but before I even could read the first sentence the children had him roaring away. You simply push his head down and he speaks various phrases and then you let go and he roars making movements simultaneously. He only does his roaring so he might get a little bit boring but the kids were sitting with him for a good hour pushing his head down and making him roar followed by lots of laughter. The children thought he was great and now goes everywhere with my little girl and makes a big appearance when Raa Raa comes on the T.V. Remote Controlled Illuminated Solar System Eureka Toys Reviewed by Jane Hopkins Well this is an item that caused lots of excitement in our house. "An indoor universe? Really mum?" said my 6 year old. The completed planetarium is now suspended on the ceiling in Jamie's room and he loves to switch it on with its remote and watch it revolve - imitating what it does in real life. The warm glow from the central globe (the Sun) is comforting and is easily activated by the remote control. Overall it's a great educational product, I'm not sure I'd call it a toy but Jamie certainly has had enjoyment from it. Very happy children. A very nice product.
