THE SUN RADIO FOUNDATION creates and distributes solar-powered radio programming to non-commercial member stations with a focus on Texas
artists’ and Americana music. Our mission in part, is to preserve the culture of Texas music with a minimal impact on the environment. We help foster
new radio broadcasting careers for High School and College Students and provide 24-hour a day, free local radio for the communities we serve.
Proceeds are used to expand local programming, in the creation of local jobs, as support for other non-profit organizations, to
broadcast local musicians and events, and in funding new capital projects designed to increase our coverage area. In 2015, the Sun Radio Foundation
donated over $140,000 to over 60 not for profit organizations in cash and on-air announcements.
Sun Radio is a 501(c)3 public charity. Contributions for the purpose of the Sun Radio Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Township Media Inc. (Township) DBA SunRadio.com is the exclusive provider of
promotional and revenue services for Radio Client organizations specified as by the FCC as noncommercial and/or not for profit radio station, and as such, will comply with all FCC regulations appropriate to such licensing.
Township is to provide Enhanced Underwriting Announcements as a service to Underwriter organizations in recognition of financial Underwriting payments specified in this document. No guarantees or representations are made

TOURNAMENT RULES
THE CALCUTTA
☀ By entering the tournament, your team agrees to tender a minimum Calcutta entry donation of $200 for the purpose of
attempting to buy your team in the Calcutta auction. You must physically participate at the Calcutta in order to fish
in the tournament. The $200 minimum Calcutta expense is not a guarantee your team will prevail in the ownership of
your team. Your team can buy another team, and another team can buy yours. Highest bidder wins. All payments are
due at closing of Calcutta. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card. Funds generated by the Calcutta
auction are used for the Calcutta prizes and to help cover tournament expenses. Calcutta expenditures (purchasing a
chance to win a prize) are not considered tax-deductible charitable donations - please consult a tax professional.
☀ If your team wins one of the top categories but someone else bought your team, you win the award and/or prizes from
that category, but the cash goes to the owner of your team.
☀ Of the total Calcutta dollars generated, 40% will be reserved for tournament expenses and the remaining 60% will
become the Calcutta purse, to be distributed as follows:
☀ Heaviest Stringer – 40% of Calcutta purse + trophy for each team member (Team Award)

WEIGH-IN
TOURNAMENT RULES
☀ Weigh-in will be Saturday, June 18th at 4PM at Bluff’s Landing. Teams must be at the dock in line by 4PM or they will
not be allowed to weigh in, disqualifying them from any potential Calcutta winnings. NO EXCEPTIONS.
☀ TEAM Each team will be allowed to weigh 5 fish including two Red Drum-redfish (BETWEEN 20”-28” in the slot) and
three Spotted Sea Trout -trout (NEW- IN THE SLOT BETWEEN 15-25”-NO OVERSIZED TROUT CAN BE WEIGHED) for
Heaviest Stringer (Team Award),
☀ Biggest Trout (Individual Award) IN THE SLOT
☀ Biggest Red (Individual Award). IN THE SLOT
☀ Fish can only be used once – as a team stringer or in an individual category. NO EXCEPTIONS. Pick your fish
carefully ahead of time!
☀ All fish must meet state requirements and all anglers must observe all Texas Parks and Wildlife rules and regulations.
☀ In the event of a tie for Heaviest Stringer by weight, the longer of the trout prevails. Should there be a tie in both weight
and length, the winner will be determined by order of weigh-in. All categories are determined by weight FIRST, then
length (i.e. an 8 lb, 25” Red will beat a 7lb, 26” Red).
FISHING Tournament fishing begins at sunrise or later on Saturday, June 18 th
☀ Any type of live or dead bait may be used. Surf and jetty fishing is allowed. All anglers must have a current Texas
Fishing License and saltwater stamp.
☀ All fish must be caught the day of the weigh-in and shall be in a fresh and edible condition at the time of the weigh-in.
Fish with damaged fins or tails will be disqualified. Weighted fish filled with any foreign substance will be disqualified.
If you submit an illegal fish at weigh-in, you will be disqualified in all categories!
☀ Licensed guides are allowed. Guides are not allowed as a member of a team. GUIDES MUST HAVE A LICENSE AND A
COPY OF THE LICENSE MUST BE PROVIDE/VERIFIED IN ADVANCE OF THE TOURNAMENT
☀ Teams without guides will receive a 7.5% premium added to their score.
☀ Registered teams take full responsibility for compensation, legal methodology, and behavior of guides.
☀ All decisions of the Tournament Director and Weigh Master are final. RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
