We have since expanded this program to include all Year 3 students. We have been very pleased with the program and are currently negotiating to extend the program in the school next year. Meanwhile we are also trialling an online Chinese program through The Education Group which has been interesting. We were fortunate to have visitors from the Confucius Institute attend our Assembly last Friday. Martin Jarvis (Australian Director Confucius Institute), Donghe Liu (Director Confucius Institute CDU) and Tina Ma (Chinese Professional Teacher Confucius Institute CDU) observed the wonderful Year 3 Chinese performance. We would also like to commend our music students who performed at last week’s assembly and the work of the music teachers from the NT Music School. We were very entertained and appreciate the talent of our students. Larrakeyah Primary is a DoE/CDU Teaching School. We welcome the preservice teachers who will be working in our school this term.
