Discretionary Activities Charges
Discretionary Activities are activities that require case-by-case assessment and may not be approved. The effects of the proposed activities therefore
need to be individually assessed against objectives and policy to determine the appropriateness of the activity, and any conditions and/or restrictions
that may apply. Approval for discretionary activities is not guaranteed. Consideration of applications will not begin until the appropriate application fee
has been received. Application fees are non refundable.
Discretionary activities include but are not limited to:
- All activities, including filming and still photography, which generate gain or financial reward for a group or individual; and/or
- Any activity occurring on a designated site that does not meet the site conditions of use; and/or
- Large scale or complex activities or events; and/or
- Activities requiring temporary and/or permanent telecommunication and radio communication stations; and/or
- Activities involving aircraft; and/or
