It is advisable that your school make arrangements with Macroom Golf Club 026 41072 in advance with regard to meals and refreshments. Catering to be paid by participating students/school on the day. No free practice round allowed and mobile phones should be switched off while on the course. Time School School School 10.00am St Joseph’s School Ballybunion Intermediate School Killorglin Patrician Academy Mallow 10.30am St Colman’s College Fermoy Mercy Mounthawk Tralee TEAMS TO CONSIST OF THREE MALE PLAYERS WITH CONGU HANDICAPS WHO MUST BE UNDER 16 YEARS ON THE 1st JANUARY 2017 FORMAT OF PLAY: STROKE PLAY PLAYERS PLAY OF CURRENT PLAYING HANDICAP IN ORDER OF HANDICAP. MAXIMUM HANDICAP ALLOWANCE TO ANY PLAYER IS 15. IF A MEMBER OF A TEAM HAS A HANDICAP IN EXCESS OF 15 HE MUST PLAY OFF 15. THE AGREGATE OF THE BEST TWO NETT SCORES QUALIFIES FOR MUNSTER FINAL. IF TWO OR MORE TEAMS ARE TIED THE RESULT SHALL BE DECIDED BY THE BREAKING OF TIES AS SET OUT IN THE GUI TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS BOOKLET. PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS SHOULD MAKE THEIR OWN ARRANGEMENTS WITH HOSTING CLUB REGARDING MEALS INCLUDING PAYMENT OF SAME. PLAY-OFF DATE & VENUE TO BE ARRANGED TO DECIDE MUNSTER QUALIFIER FOR NATIONAL FINALS. All competitors must be the holder of an official CONGU handicap (not junior handicap). We would ask each team to be punctual and to hand the COMPLETED and signed Team Sheet in handicap order to the Official-In-Charge at least 30 minutes before your tee off time. Times cannot be altered. If you are unable to attend, please inform the office on 022-21026 before the event or Macroom GC on the day of the Championship. Enjoy the day and best of luck.
