The Pythagorean Theorem centers around the right
triangle, a figure which is used in countless
applications in every day life. The right triangle, and
the Pythagorean Theorem can be used to calculate
the height of a building or various other objects. It
can also be used to calculate the distance between
two points, to determine if an object is “square”, or
even to check out the slope of a ramp.

