Overview:
The Town of Kippens invites offers from interested parties for the purchase of surplus equipment as
follows:
 1 x 1988, 936E Wheel Loader, 3304 Engine with Bucket.
(Reserve Bid: $40,000.00 plus HST)
 1 X 1991 GMC Fire Truck TopKick, Pumper, model no. 61227.
(Reserve Bid: $15,000.00 plus HST)
Vehicle(s) will be made available to the successful bidder on an “as is, where is” basis and must be
removed within ten days of the successful bidder being nominated.
A deposit from the successful bidder of 10% of the purchase price will be required within 48 hours of
nomination and the balance of the purchase price within 7 days of nomination.
The deposit will be forfeited and the item offered to the next highest bidder in the event that balance of
the purchase price is not received within 7 days of nomination.
In the event that the deposit is not received within 48 hours of nomination, the item will be offered to
the bidder of the next best offer.
Inspection:
Inspection of the Vehicle(s) is welcomed and can be viewed during business hours at the Kippens Town
Hall, 2 Juniper Avenue by appointment only.
Removal from Site:
The successful bidder will be responsible for organising the removal of the vehicle from its location and
all associated costs.

Award of Successful Bidder:
The item will be awarded to the highest successful bidder. The Town of Kippens reserves the right to
withdraw the sale or reject any offer at any given time.
In the event of more than one bid of the same value being received, the submitters will be invited to rebid.
