Lodi Wrestling Coaching Staff
HEAD COACH - CHRIS PERSIKE
Chris enters his 8th season as head coach. He is a 1990 Lodi high school graduate, a 1996 UW-Stevens Point
graduate, and a 2000 Silver Lake graduate where he earned a graduate degree in education. Chris holds a career
record of 99-14 as head coach. He lead his team to a Team State 2nd place finish in 2006, qualified in 2007, Team
State Champions in 2008, and Team State runner-up in 2009.
ASSISTANT COACH - Kelby Mack
Kelby was a former state champion for Lodi Wrestling and has been helping out for several season.
ASSISTANT COACH - BEAU LANE
Beau is starting his 12th year of coaching in Lodi. He is a 1996 graduate of Lodi High School. His senior year he
took home the individual state runner up title, and was the captain for Lodi’s first ever Team State qualifying team.
He is a 2001 graduate of UW-Whitewater, where he wrestled for two seasons. He started his coaching career in Fort
Atkinson in 2000 and also is a WIAA licensed referee.
ASSISTANT COACH - LANDON BREUNIG
Landon was a 4 year letter winner and WIAA state placewinner for Lodi Wrestling.
ASSISTANT COACH - Kyle Mack
Kyle was a part of the 2005 WIAA Team State Championship team..
MIDDLE SCHOOL COACH - LAVERN ZEIGLER
Lavern is a 1980 graduate of Lodi high school. he began wrestling as a freshman when Coach Reinwand came to
Lodi. He is now in his 31st year as middle school wrestling coach. GO BLUE DEVILS!!!
MIDDLE SCHOOL COACH - JACK REINWAND
Jack Reinwand coached Lodi High School wrestling for 29 great years. He lead his 1998 and 2004 teams to WIAA
State Team Champions. His varsity career coaching record at Lodi High School is an impressive 371-57-2. As a
competitor he was a 1976 National Champion for the University Wisconsin. He was a bronze medalist in the world
games in 1977. He was also inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in the fall of 2006. He has been
coaching at the middle school for the past 5 years.
