There is a box in the foyer where you can put your donated items and we will continue this effort until Wednesday, Nov. 30th. The food collected during the drive will be distributed on Saturday morning, Dec. 3rd, at the college. If you would like to help with this effort or help box up the canned goods on Friday afternoon, Dec. 2nd, please see Rayford. Those to remember in prayer… Medina Christmas Gifts The holiday season is upon us and we will once again be assisting Medina Children’s Home by providing Christmas gifts for a number of their children. Beginning next Sunday morning, November 20th, everyone will have the opportunity to sign up in the foyer to help with this great work. There will be a display on the sign up table, explaining the process. We are expecting to be assigned fifteen of the Medina children. You are welcomed to sign up to provide all of the gifts for a child, or just one — but be sure and write your name beside the gift, so that we know it is taken care of. Howard Johnson was able to under go the insertion of a second stint into a blocked artery last Monday. The procedure went very well and he was able to return home on Wednesday. Ruth Davis continues to r ecover at Kindred Hospital in Clear Lake, after a recent bout with a UTI and pneumonia. She is also undergoing physical therapy. Gary Brown has had to stop his chemo treatment for one month due to a severe side effect he was experiencing. He asks for prayers that his cancer will not progress while he is off of the chemo. Lana Knight, Ann Allen's sister -in-law, remains in critical condition and is now under hospice care. Alyssa Ferguson, the young lady who has been dealing with a number of brain tumors over the last two years recently found out that she now has a tumor on her spine. Belinda Coggins, J udy Whittington's sister from Fort Smith, Arkansas, will begin radiation treatment tomorrow at MD Anderson, after recently completing chemotherapy. She will be staying with Judy and Nelson while she is here receiving treatments.
