WOMENS DIVISION

Welcome to the start of the 2008 season, as you are now out of juniors the club invites
you to continue your hockey at Willetton with the senior women’s. As an incentive for
you to continue playing with the club, the club has introduced a special 1st year senior
fee for our juniors progressing to seniors. We feel that this is reward for your loyalty to
Willetton also making the transition to seniors a little less expensive and making seniors
more appealing to play.
Currently our senior fees are $340.00 for non students and $290.00 for students, this
new fee structure will save you $90 - $140.
This season we will have 5 Turf teams and at this stage no Metro grass team, more will
be added if numbers permit.
Pre season Training
Pre season for all players and especially for those wishing to play in a Turf side will
commence Tuesday 22nd of January Trevor Gribble Res 6.15 for a 6.30pm start, this will
be followed by a bbq supplied by the club. Initially training will be held on Tuesday’s and
Thursday’s before switching to Monday and Thursday’s for turf sessions. There will be
approximately 5 weeks of fitness work before turf sessions begin, turf players wanting to
play Wizard, Prem 2 or Prem 3 are expected to have a high level of fitness.
Provisional turf teams (2) will commence grass training on Thursday 13th of March ,
7pm at club grounds.
