Three practices a week!
Traditional open practice run on
Tuesday evenings by tower captain
Weekly (simulator) Friday 4 pm after
school club for our local private
school, Abingdon School
Weekly (simulator) Friday 5 –
6.30 pm learner practice
targeted at youngsters

Ten bells on simulator – lots of options!
Up to ten learners, mostly school age
Three or four teachers and some helpers
One or two teachers concentrate on handling (LTR 1,
2) and LTR assessments
At the same time:
Another teacher runs practice for LTR 2,3,4,5 with
plenty of games in between more serious work
Biscuit/cake break every week
Future: separate dumb-bell and simulator for
individual exercises based on LTR syllabus

Encouraging ringing in young learners from our area
Half day outings in each school
holiday with ringing plus social
activities
Intensive ringing courses (daily) in
a school holiday at least once a
year
(We invite ALL the youngsters to
come!)
Encouraging suitable candidates
to train to be ART teachers and
organising courses for them
We have fun!!
