GORDON SOCCER CLUB - REGISTRATION GUIDE FOR NEW PLAYERS
Welcome to the Club! The step-by-step instructions below should help you to register to play with
Gordon Soccer Club in 2013. More information on the season in general is available on our website
www.gordonsoccerclub.com.au. Questions can be directed to the registrar,

1. Log on to My Football Club at www.myfootballclub.com.au
2. Select “Register Now”
3. Select “Player Registration”
4. Select “Click here to create an FFA account”
5. Fill in the details requested. If you are registering on behalf of your child, use your child’s
details for name, date of birth etc but your contact details for emails, phone calls etc. At
the end, My Football Club will email you with an FFA account number and password (the
password can be changed later). The email should arrive within 5 mins.
6. Once My Football Club has emailed your details to you, return to the same website page
as in step 4 (you can get back to this page by following steps 1 to 3 or by clicking the link
provided in My Football Club’s email to you). Click on “Click here to proceed to the login
pages”
7. Provide the FFA number and password sent to you via email, then click Login.
8. Click on “Make a Registration”

Check and complete your contact details as necessary. Photographs only need to be
provided for players playing in Under 12 and over age groups.
10. The “Select Registration” screen will open. Type in the name of the club as it appears
here: Gordon Soccer Club (Club) and a drop down menu will appear below. Select Gordon
Soccer Club (Club) from the menu.
11. Under Step 2 on “Select Registration” screen, select “Player” and answer the question that
appears about any previous overseas registration the player may have.
12. Under Step 3, a list of available packages based on your age will be presented to you in a
drop down menu. Select one package. Junior players will generally select the age group
that corresponds to the age they will turn this year (e.g. a child that turns 8 in 2013 would
play in the Under 8’s). Sometimes, however, a very strong player may choose to play in
an older age group category. For more details on which categories you may choose from,
see the table at the end of this guide.
13. Once you have chosen the right package from the drop down menu, click “Add Packages”
under Step 4 and follow the instructions to accept Terms and Conditions.
14. The Payment screen will appear. You will have a choice of Pay Online (pay now using your
credit card) or Manual Payment at Club (pay later by EFT, cheque by mail, or
cash/cheque/credit card at Registration Day).
15. If you have selected Manual Payment at Club, the following screen will appear and your
registration process is finished, thank you. You will receive an invoice from FFA by email
that will need to be paid before the player can be placed in a team. See
www.gordonsoccerclub.com.au under the Registration tab for details of how to pay the
invoice. Once you have paid the invoice, you will next hear from the Registrar via email
that your registration is approved (this may take a few days). After this, the player will be
placed in a team or asked to come to Grading Day.
16. If you have selected Pay Online, the website will take you through a series of steps to take
your credit card details. Once you see the screen below, you will have completed your fee
payment, thank you. An email receipt will be send to you.
17. After clicking next, the following screen will be shown and your registration process is
complete. You will next hear from the Registrar via email that your registration is
approved (this may take a few days). After this, the player will be placed in a team or
asked to come to Grading Day.
Table of age groups
The maximum and minimum age permissible in each group is the age a player turns this year. For
example, a player who turns 9 this year can choose to play in the Under 9’s, Under 10’s or Under
11’s.
