Account Set Up Details
The following details are needed to set up your email account
in desktop clients or mobile devices.

1. Webmail

Your emails can be accessed
on any browser using our cloud
based webmail server giving you
access to your email wherever you
have an internet connection.
Access Link:

To Log in, enter your username and
password details provided to you.
To change your password

Open email, reply, forward, delete etc
works in the same way as other mail
clients you are used to.
2. Desktop Clients
If you prefer to use a desktop client
such as Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird
or Safari Mail, set up instructions for
each are listed below.

Open Outlook

Click Tools > Accounts on the navigation

Add an account - click the cross at the
bottom of the accounts panel. Select
Other Email

Enter your account information as
requested.
Email address: [email protected]
Password: your password as supplied

Click Add Account
User Name: [email protected]
Type: Select “IMAP”
Incoming server:
type “imap.lgfaclubs.ie”
Outgoing Server:
type “imap.lgfaclubs.ie”
Click Add Account

Open Thunderbird

Click Create a new account > Email

When asked if you want to set up a new
email address, click Skip this and use
my existing mail

Enter your account information as
requested.
Your Name: your name
Email address: [email protected]
Password: your password as supplied
Click continue

Select “IMAP” and click Done

NOTE: Thunderbird may prompt you to
confirm the security certificate, if so
click confirm.

If you haven’t added a new account
yet, you’ll be taken directly to the Add
Account prompt. If you’re adding an
additional account, or this prompt
doesn’t otherwise load automatically,
you’ll need to select Add Account from
the Mail menu.

From the Add Account prompt, select
Add Other Mail Account, click Continue.

Enter your email account information
and click create.
Full Name: Your name as you would like
it to appear.
Email Address: [email protected].
Password: The password for your email
account.

Click Sign in, you will be prompted to
add the following details:
Account Type: Select “IMAP”
Incoming server:
type “imap.lgfaclubs.ie”
Outgoing Server:
type “imap.lgfaclubs.ie”
Click Sign In

Select Mailbox from the navigation, and
New Mailbox
3. Mobile Clients

If you want to keep track of your emails
on your mobile phone, setting up the email
with your phone email client allows you to
keep track of emails on the go.

From Settings tap Accounts.

Create new email account
Tap Add a New Account.

Enter email address & password
> Tap Manual Setup.

Select server type Tap IMAP ACCOUNT.

Enter username
Tap the field below “User name” and key
in the username for your email account youremail.lgfaclubs.ie

Server Settings
Incoming Server Settings:
imap.gmail247.com
Outgoing Server Settings:
smtp.gmail247.com
Make sure “Authentication required before
sending emails“ is checked.

Ensure all username fields match your
email address exactly.

Tap Sign In to complete

From the Home screen, choose Settings.

Next, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

In the Accounts section, tap Add
Account.

Choose your email account type, choose
Other.

Select Add Mail Account under the Mail
section.

Enter your account information.

On the next screen, enter your incoming
server settings: imap.gmail247.com
enter outgoing server settings: smtp.
gmail247.com. Finally enter your
username and password

Once the email configuration is added,
tap Next to continue.

Choose what information you want to
sync with your phone and tap Save
to save the entered information. Your
iPhone will then verify your account
information.

10 Upon successful completion, you
will be taken back to the Mail screen.
Your account will now be listed in the
Accounts section.
