BASTER RACE: A relay race using a turkey baster and a feather. ALPHABET: Taking turns going down the alphabet listing what you will bring to Thanksgiving. INDIAN CORN WREATH: Cut out corn cobs from paper and create wreath. MON I 2ND HALF LEAF PAINTING: Place leaves on a paper and paint around them in fall colors. Will be laminated. WOULD YOU RATHER: Answer silly thanksgiving themed would you rather questions. TURKEY CATCH: Search for turkeys hidden around the room. FALL SCAVENGER HUNT: Look for certain fall items outside (dead leaf, acorn, etc.). TUE I 1ST HALF TURKEY TOSS: Toss balls of paper stuffing in a paper turkey. PIN THE GOB ON THE TURKEY: Pin the tail on the donkey, but with a turkey. THANKSGIVING CHARADES: Playing charades with thanksgiving related activities. TURKEY TIME!: Many craft supplies will be available to make the turkey craft of choice. TUE I 2ND HALF PLACE MAT: Lovely turkey placemats using the children’s handprints. MAD LIBS: Fill out thanksgiving themed mad libs as a group / in small groups. FEATHER FLOAT: See who can keep a feather in the air longest. TRIVIA: A Thanksgiving trivia game. WED I 1ST HALF TURKEY TAG: A game of tag where children remove turkey clothespins from each other’s shoulders. TURKEY SALAD: A spin on a game called fruit salad and similar to musical chairs. BINGO: Thanksgiving themed bingo. THANKFUL PUMPKIN: A pumpkin made from strips of paper with what the child is thankful for. WED I 2ND HALF LEAF WREATH: A beautiful wreath made with found fall leaves. DON’T EAT TOM: A game with nine squares, M&Ms and Tom is the turkey. Children take turns eating the M&Ms until someone has to eat Tom, that child is then out. Last one playing wins! VOYAGE: One child is Plymouth Rock, one child is the mayflower (blindfolded), and the other children are obstacles.
