What this means to you; all students attending participating schools are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each school day of the 2015-2016 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application. A list of the participating schools is attached. Some families that qualify for free or reduced price meals under the federal school lunch program will have a mixed household with one child attending a CEP school while another child will attend a non CEP school. In this case, a meal benefits application will need to be completed at www.lunchapplication.com for the child(ren) not attending a school that is participating in CEP. Additional information on this and a variety of subjects can be found on the School Nutrition webpage located on the Knox County Schools website at: http://knoxschools.org/Domain/1039 If we can be of any further assistance, please contact Mona Underwood at (865) 594-9563.
