Days
June 23 & 26, 2017

Dear Parents,
The following is some information regarding our Multi-Activity Days in June of this
year. Your son or daughter has signed up for the following activity, which was detailed and sent
home to you in the March letter. No additional fees are needed if your child has paid the $2.00
registration fee.
Friday June 23 rd OR Monday, June 26th – Multi-Games day
Your child will be attending the Multi-Games activity. This may include a variety of
game systems such as Wii, or Playstation, Xbox or personal devices. You could also bring and
simply use this as an opportunity to play your favourite board game. Students are to arrive at
school for regular attendance. Instead of regular period 1, they will meet their coordinating
teacher, Mrs. Huchko, in Mr. Black’s room.
Can you bowl? Can you golf? Can you play tennis? Can you play pool? Can you “dance
revolution”? Are you a “guitar hero”? Do you like adventures? Are you a video game expert?
Then this activity is the place for you. Systems may be linked to projector screen making it a
much more “real life size” experience. A game tournament may also be offered for students to
compete against each other in appropriately rated games.
You can also become involved with other games. Have you ever noticed that people
often resist playing Chess and Monopoly because they take so much time? Now you have all
day to compete in these time-honoured classics. Perhaps you will be the next chess genius or
Monopoly World Champion! Students will need to supply the games on this
day – this will be discussed at activity meetings.
Students will be dismissed
for lunch at 11:20 am and are expected back at school by 12:30 pm. Students will be dismissed
for the day at 3:10 pm.
PLEASE KEEP THIS SHEET AT HOME AS A REMINDER OF ACTIVITY DETAILS.
