League Membership Fee is $75.00
Weekly Fees for Greens & Cart Fees will be $30.00 per session.
FAQS
Do I need any prior playing experience?
Not at all. The Beginners Clinic is perfect if you are just starting out or are interested in learning the game. The first five
weeks of the league will begin with a one hour clinic given by our Golf Pro.
Do I need a playing partner?
While it is encouraged to bring your friends or family to join us, it is not necessary to have a playing partner.
We will match players of similar ability through the flights and you will have an opportunity to meet all who participate.
Do I need equipment?
For the Experienced Players, it is suggested to have your own equipment. If you do not have any equipment, JC Melrose
JC Melrose C.C. does have a few rental sets available, which must be reserved in advance. Our Pro Shop sells other items
such as golf gloves, balls, accessories and attire.
For the Beginners, no equipment is necessary.

--------------------Do I have to commit to playing every week?
It is suggested to play every week possible because as we all know practice makes perfect. However, you are not
required to participate each week. There are no scheduled makeup sessions.
Do I have to know the rules of golf?
The league membership fee includes a copy of the Rules of Golf and the rules will also be reviewed in the golf clinics.
Does the Club have a dress code?
At JC Melrose C.C. we do require either a mock neck or collared shirt. Jeans, tee shirts, tank tops, and short shorts
are not permitted. While golf shoes are recommended, sneakers are allowed on the golf course.
Is there somewhere I can change?
JC Melrose C.C. has locker rooms where you can change and shower if necessary.
Is there Food and Beverage available?
The Club Lounge at JC Melrose C.C. is open for a la carte casual food and
beverage service, including alcoholic beverages.
How long is each session?
The golf clinics (including course play) run for approximately two hours.
Can I come early to practice?
JC Melrose C.C. does have a driving range, putting area and chipping greens.
How many people are in a group? How much personalized attention will I receive?
The golf clinics will be limited to 10 students per instructor and private lessons are available.
