Administration and Operations: a. Health Cards: i. All cadets are required to have their health card for all cadet activities on their person. This also includes Thursday parade nights, and other practice/Trg sessions. 7 b. ACL ID Cards: i. All civilian non paid staff shall wear their ACL ID card for all cadet activities. c. Communication: i. Communication in the Corps is paramount in order to be successful and efficient. d. Absences: i. Troop Commanders are granted the authority to excuse their subordinates below the rank of MBdr when notified and will forward this information to the Administration Officer. These cadets shall call the Corps and their TSM should they be unable to attend. ii. ALL Senior NCMs (Sgt and up) shall contact the RSM and request to be excused from training and shall advise their TSM or DC. It is your responsibility as the NCM to inform all who are affected and ensure that the RSM is aware of any assigned tasks. Being proactive not only shows respect, but reflects an atmosphere of professionalism and courtesy. iii. If you are scheduled to teach you MUST include your Trg Officer, SLO (CC) in your contact with the RSM. You shall advise what class you are scheduled to teach, what date and period and state if you have found a suitable replacement and that they are aware of the change. You shall provide your replacement with your lesson plans. The RSM, SLO and the Trg O will action as required. iv. If you are scheduled for an event as a Senior NCM: Contact the RSM and make a request to be excused and advise that you were tasked with an assignment, with a Carbon Copy (CC). The RSM will advise of the replacement and advise both the new NCM who is being tasked, with a CC to the OPI. v. Officers – All CIC and Civilian staff will email or call the Commanding Officer to be excused from local and mandatory training events. An email with CC to your department head is also required (i.e. OPI, TRGO etc.) The CO’s email is [email protected]. e. Activity Permission Forms & Money - Collection of activity permission forms (if needed) for activities shall only be accepted from cadets by the OPI of the activity or a sponsor Rep should money be involved with the activity. This will ensure accuracy. This may be delegated by the OPI. A receipt shall be provided for all money collection. 8 f. Weekly Calling – All Troop NCM’s should ensure they have the most recent version of the Organizational Chart for your troop and cadet contact information and that they make contact with the cadets weekly no later than Tuesday at 20:00 hrs. to pass on information. 3. Code of Conduct: a. All cadets and staff are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with orders and regulations and within the cadet Code of Conduct. 4. Dress of the Day: a. The regulations are not intended to be too restrictive. Vimy Trip a. 2958 RCACC shall participate in an optional citizenship tour of Europe during the month of November culminating in Remembrance Day Services at Vimy Ridge. b. Christmas Break a. 2958 RCACC will stand down training on the nights of 26 Dec 13 and 2 Jan 14. b. Training will resume on 9 Jan 14.
