How to Host a Facebook Jewelry Party
Set-Up



Go to www.freeconferencecallhd.com and create a free account. This is your own personal
conference call number.
Become Facebook friends with your Hostess
Set up the Facebook Event from your Profile Page.
o Use a fun invitation title and description
o Use a nice cover photo (We’ll be providing these)
o Set the event privacy to ‘Invite Only’
o Edit the event after it is created to make the Hostess a Host with you

Contact Hostess to tell her the event is ready. Coach her to have a successful Facebook Party the
same way you would coach her to have a successful live party.
o Don’t just invite people through Facebook
o Talk up the party in person to the people she sees
o Make phone calls to friends who should attend
o Have her mention it on her personal profile.
o OVER-invite
o Teach your Hostess to fill out an order form so she can get outside orders, and so that
friends who join the party can contact her to place their order too.
Pre-Party
These steps will serve to increase excitement about the party. They will encourage those who have not
responded to RSVP. They will raise awareness about the party, YOU – the FAITH Consultant, and about
FAITH Company. Follow these steps for maximum success:

Post daily on the event page leading up to the party. Post several times the day of the party.






Use a variety of different types of posts to get attention from the invitees. Use jewelry photos,
links to videos, promotion photos, Pinterest posts, display photos, links to info on our Blog, etc.
Ask the Hostess to share some posts to her personal page with the info that she is having a
FAITH Jewelry & Jammies party (or whatever you name it) and if they want to be invited to let
her know.
Build excitement for the party with your posts. Be fun and entertaining. Use your own
personality.
Create a photo album on your personal profile page. While FAITH will be creating 2 or 3 albums
on the FAITH page that you can use, the marketing potential for you to have an album on your
own page is huge. You can copy the ones that FAITH does, or you can create your own based on
your own preferences and experiences with sales in your area. In the description of each photo,
put the Item #s and Prices of the items shown.
Create a Word document that is your ‘Show Script’. In this document, put links to any videos or
material online that you want to share during the party. This makes it easy to copy and paste
from the document to your Facebook Event Page. See sample under Party heading.
Create a folder on your computer where you save all the photos you want to post individually
during your party, along with the show script. You want this all to be in the same location. For
ease of posting, rename your photos with the numbers 1,2,3,etc as the first part of the name.
That way they are in the order you need for your presentation.

Post-Party
You have the opportunity to for followup after the party. Enlist the help of your Hostess and contact
those who said they would attend, but didn’t ‘show up.’ Make a couple of other posts in the event
encouraging orders and bookings. Again, use your personality and make it fun and entertaining. Make
them WANT to party with you. Booking incentives are always your option and a good way to fill your
calendar.
