Quiz Game “Kaun Banega Physicist” by the Department of

VES College of Arts, Science and Commerce is pleased to invite the B.Sc. students of your college to participate in the quiz
game “Kaun Banega Physicist” on the lines of the popular game show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” by the Department of
Physics on Thursday, 26th November 2015. There will be an elimination round, followed by the “Hot Seat” round wherein
only six qualifying teams (of 2 members each) will be playing. To participate, register your team of two members by 23rd
November by sending mail to [email protected]/[email protected]. Teams may be composed of
students from different years of B.Sc . Registrations after 23rd November will not be entertained.

About Department
The Department is actively involved in different programs for undergraduate students
namely, Problem Solving Course, Talent Nurture Program and Interactive Physics
Learning modules.
We offer special guidance for preparation for entrance exams to post graduate
courses in Physics in reputed institutions. Our past students have joined IIT, IISc,
Bose Institute, TIFR, BARC, University of Illinois and software companies like Wipro,
TCS, etc.
Construction of Knowledge through problem solving has been seamlessly integrated
with the Physics under graduate program. Physics Education, Materials Science and
Astrobiology are the three broad fields of research in the department. The
department has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception.
