Have fun, develop skills and
improve athletic performance
in this all about the love of
sports camp. Children will
learn healthy warm up and
cool down techniques, enjoy
playing favorite ball games, and receive
positive productive feedback from skilled
instructors and experienced athletes. There
will be basic skills instruction everyday by a
high school soccer star!
Special offer: Transportation to the 4-H pool in
Front Royal for a week of swimming lessons
each afternoon from 1-3. Additional costs
apply and this offer is limited to 13 campers.

and performance of the RACC Community
Theatre. Learning from professionals as we
learn about stage presence, voice, acting and
the technical aspects of live theater. Best of all
this camp will do a live performance of Peter

things. The campers will enjoy exploring native
wildlife in its own habitat and field trips to
local conservatories that protect and feature

Shenandoah National Park,
practicing the skills needed
to stay safe and have fun in
the wild. Back at CCLC,
campers learn basic
wilderness survival skills like
building and cooking over a fire, constructing
shelters, knot tying and more.

Each day is an exploratory study of one of the four
elements. Earth, wind,
water or fire are
represented through a
hike on solid ground, a
river adventure,
campfire building, kite
construction, science experiments, games, and a
day in the sun at Lake Arrowhead.

INCREDIBLE EDIBLES

In this fun fourday camp,
young chefs will
practice the
fundamentals of
cooking.
Children will be introduced to cooking and
baking activities with a series of recipes just for
this age group. Along the way, they will get to
crack eggs, pour, touch, taste and have a blast.
Campers will visit local farms to harvest as well
as our gardens to pick some of the food for our
recipes. We will have the opportunity to work
with some local chefs and tour some local
restaurants. Limit 13

This summer camp is
one of the best parts of
being a kid! Not only
does this camp promote
physical activity and build new friendships, it’s
a BLAST! On the Massanutten Adventure
Course campers will complete a series of zip
lines, climbing walls and more. At Skyline
Paintball campers will find action, strategy and
skill using low impact markers. At CCLC
campers will participate in challenge courses
and team building exercises focusing on
communication, trust, cooperation and fun.

Stay cool this summer as
we explore water and the
life it supports through
hands-on projects and
games at CCLC and in our
local rivers. We will make
a dam, survey macroinvertebrates, seine fish,
do cool experiments with water, speed down
the slip-and slide, and more.
4-H trip July 18 Splashdown Water Park
Get ready to make a
splash during this wet and
wild week at camp! Enjoy
a variety of water
activities, such as water
bucket relays, slip and
slide, and water balloon
toss. Field trips: Rush
River at the Rappahannock Co. Park to learn the
art of rock balancing, Atlantis Water Park, and to
our favorite public pools.

Calling all future botanists
and zoologists. Come on a
garden adventure!
Butterflies, beetles, birds,
bees, bats, and mothsdiscover the animals that
help plants make seeds. Participate in a
workday at the Fauquier Education Farm and
visit with a beekeeper. Through working in the
soil, playing games, making crafts, and eating
from the garden, we will explore the garden
world. Limit 13

all to the greatest
camp of all! Join
this wild and
wacky circus
troupe. Learn
funny tricks, play
games with
balloons, hula hoops, dress up like clowns, learn
juggling, face painting and make balloon figures.
Our end of the summer party will be a super-doper
kid circus, a pot luck lunch, waterslide games, and
fun snow cone treats-open to all campers and their
families.
