Reset MyCSN Password

Instructions for Resetting Your MyCSN Password
1. If you’ve forgotten your MyCSN password, go to the MyCSN log on webpage at
https://por.shr.nevada.edu/psp/spporprd/CSN/ENTP/h/?tab=GUEST and select the Forgot your
password? link.
2. Enter your User ID (NSHE ID), then click on the Continue button.
3. Enter the correct answer to your security question, then click on the Email New Password button. A
new password will be e-mailed to the e-mail address that is in your student account.
4. If you are unable to answer your security question correctly, you will have to come to any of our
campus locations in person and present an Office of the Registrar representative with a valid
government-issued photo ID.
5. Once you have successfully logged on to your MyCSN account, to set up a security question and
response, click on the Change My Password located across the top of the screen.
6. You will have to change your current password in order to set up a security question. Enter your
current and new password in the appropriate fields, then select a question from the drop down list.
7. Once you have selected your security question, enter your response, then click on the Change
Password button.
8. You will see the following message. Click on the OK button to continue.
9. You have successfully set up your security question and response. From this point forward, if you
can’t remember your MyCSN password, follow steps 1 through 3 outlined above to have a
temporary password e-mailed to you at the e-mail address in your student account.
