Football Volunteer
Our football programme is jam packed with leagues, competitions,
challenges and of course our Wigan Youth Zone teams who compete
in local leagues.
As a football volunteer you will be involved in the organising of
tournaments, coaching the young people (boys and girls) and
refereeing our mini leagues. Football is a hugely popular sport at
Wigan Youth Zone and we encourage everyone to get involved, no
matter what their ability.
Whether you simply love the beautiful game or aspire to become a
football coach we have plenty of opportunities for you to get
involved.

Skills Required:
 A passion for football
 A FA coaching qualification is desirable but if you know the
rules and can show off some skills, great!
 Friendly and approachable
 A willingness to join in with the activities
 Ability to referee friendly matches
 Strong group management (you will always be supported
though)
