Back to School Night Bienvenue à la classe de français Marking Period Grades French Honors 4 • 30% • 40% • 30% Tests (chapter and IPA format) Quizzes projects (participation, oral + written assessments, oral presentations, homework) French Honors 4 Textbooks Weighted /Dual Credit • Students get extra points on to their final grade to make a weighted course count more for their GPA. (6 points) AP(10 points) • Dual Credit: Students register at CCC for the course that they are enrolled in at WTHS and get college credit for the class if their final average is an A or B. They may be able to transfer these credits to a school of their choice when they graduate from WTHS. • AP students must register for CCC in the fall! Reasons to continue World Language studies: • Better colleges want three years or more of a language study. • AP scores of a 3 or better may be given 3 college credits. • WTHS is involved with a state program: Seal of Biliteracy. Seniors who pass the state test in February will obtain a seal of Biliteracy on their diploma in June.
