ICICI Bank :
ICICI considered is a women-friendly company. It Allows women who
decide to put a break in their careers to continue the association through
smaller projects. Now looking for institutionalizing part-time
employment. But here part-time doesn’t mean flexi-time.
IBM
Day care centre - Employees can bring their kids and keep their children.
There are people to take care of the kids.
Locator service - Company helps find nearest crèche for the children of
employees.
Training: Tied up with training vendors who trains nannies to look after
the kids of employees and women managers at their homes.
Talking the Stage Programme: Interaction between women employees
with senior managers. It is proven to be very successful.

HSBC:
Maternity Leave Policy: Maternity policy where women managers are
given the flexibility of enhanced leave based on their requirements apart
from the regular maternity leave.
Adoption leave: If any employee adopts kid, he/she will be given leave to
take care of the kid.
Flexi-timing: It enables managers to start their working day at a time
convenient to them. It has proved very successful.
Location Specific Policy: Flexibility of deployment or relocation within
India, which aims to provide managers the option of transfer or
relocation to another city due to personal reasons or in case of
emergencies.

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories: Extend maternity leave benefits in case of
adoption. It has introduced flexible working hours for women for
about two years even after delivery. They can come late for the office
and leave early also. Company is planning to provide work – from –
home facility.
Cisco: It dedicates programmes and resources to help women
develop their skills as managers and executives. In educational and
social setting Cisco encourages women’s interest in careers in
company.
Infosys: It has provision for part-time work and facilities women to
work from home. Infosys has set up an IWIN – Infosys Women’s
Inclusivity Network, which looks into issues women face in the
organisation. It is a great place for women to work.
Satyam: It also has the provision for part-time work and work from
home concept. Satyam has mentoring groups and also in the final
stages in tie-up with crèches like Euro kids or Kidzee.
