Analysis of the labor market of the Municipality of Patras
The analysis identified the key-priorities for the interventions:
• Development of networking and cooperation between the social
and professional bodies.
• Strengthening and re-orientation of the employment of new
engineers, who are affected by the economic crisis, to
contemporary professional activities.
• Exploiting new technologies to create self-employment initiatives
• Design of up to date tools for the efficient organization of services
offered by local social care agencies
• Enhancement of knowledge and skills of unemployed
beneficiaries in order to organize local social care agencies

Identification of needs of direct and indirect beneficiaries of the social services of Patras
• Direct beneficiaries are persons who receive (or are in need of)
related services.
• Indirect beneficiaries are those that belong to the close family or
friendly environment and are affected by the overall situation.
Creation of a mechanism that monitors the impact of different types of
structures and social services as regards:
• the completeness and effectiveness of services received by beneficiaries
directly and
• the impact of different types of structures and social services on the
improvement of personal, social and professional situation of the indirect
beneficiaries.
