o One grade 7, one grade 8
 TCDSB and TDSB teams
 Students are required to bring a nut free bag lunch
 Cell phone use is not permitted during the contest
NOTE: Students in Gifted Programs must be registered by their home school.
The TEAMS region consists of schools in the TCDSB and those in the TDSB from the following legacy
boards: Toronto, York, East York, and Etobicoke. Students competing from the neighbouring Toronto
regions (e.g. Y4MA and SAME) would then be ineligible to compete in their local regional competitions.
To register, please complete the attached registration form and send it
with a school cheque for $25 made out to TEAMS

TEAMS Math Olympics 2017
Registration Form
TEAMS, our local chapter of the Ontario Association for Mathematics Education, will be
holding the annual Mathematics Olympics for students from grades 7 & 8 on Saturday, April
1st, 2017. Students will be involved in individual, pairs, and small group mathematics
challenges with others from various schools in the TCDSB and TDSB. The TEAMS region
consists of schools in the TCDSB and those in the TDSB from the following legacy boards:
Toronto, York, East York, and Etobicoke. Students competing from the neighbouring Toronto
regions (e.g. Y4MA and SAME) would then be ineligible to compete in their local regional
competitions.
Top scoring students will be invited to participate in the provincial competition to be held on
May 26th and 27th, 2017 at the Humber College Lakeshore Campus in Toronto, Ontario. The

balance of registered students must be maintained for the challenges in which students will
engage so these participant requirements must be met for students to be registered. Please
email Grace Mlodzianowski ([email protected]) for more information.

Students must bring their own pencils, erasers, ruler, and calculator to the contest.
Cell phone use is not permitted during the contest.

Entries must be received by Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
A school cheque for $25.00 made out to TEAMS must accompany your registration.
This fee covers the participation for both students.
