OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
$100,000 Dash for Cash Race Event
June 10th – September 4th 2017
PROMOTION ELIGIBILITY
1. This promotion is sponsored by REDSHORES Racetrack & Casino, and is open to any participant
who is nineteen (19) years of age or older, except employees of RED SHORES and Atlantic
Lottery (AL), or any immediate family of the above. “Immediate Family” means the spouse,
sibling, parent and/or child of an employee referred to above who resides with that employee.
2. Valid RED SHORES Rewards membership is not necessary to participate in the contest.
3. The chance of being selected in any draw is dependent on the number of eligible entries in the
ballot drum.
4. In the event a selected contestant does not meet the eligibility requirements, then RED SHORES
has no obligation to award any prize to that selected contestant.
5. Winners must present valid photo identification acceptable to RED SHORES and sign, before
receiving the prize, a declaration and release, as well as answer a mathematical skill testing
question. All answers are final, and if incorrect, the selected contestant will not receive the
prize.
Prizing/Draw Details
6. The grand prize for the Dash for Cash race event is a chance to win $100,000 by correctly
predicting the complete order of finish for the Dash for Cash race as determined by Red
Shores/AL. Contestants will also have a chance to win $50.00 and $10.00 Experience vouchers.
HOW TO ENTER Maximum eight (8) ballots per person, per race event; (maximum of one (1) ballot per
race)
Customers will receive an official ballot (on track only) during live racing events at Red Shores
Summerside and Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park by:
Spending $10 or more (in one wager) on live harness racing action at Charlottetown or
Summerside from races one (1) through eight.
No purchase necessary
If a guest does not wish to receive a ballot by one of the methods listed above, they may
request a ballot to enter the prize draws. They must complete the ballot with their signature,
phone number and then include a reasonable, hand-drawn facsimile of the RED SHORES logo on
the reverse side of the ballot.
DRAWS AND PRIZES
After race nine (9) a Red Shores representative will select two ballots giving two contestant a
chance to select the complete order of finish (first thru eighth) and win $100,000. Both
contestant will be selected from the racing ballots entered.
The contestants must complete the $100,000 Dash for Cash “order of finish” form and present
the form to a Red Shores representative two races prior to the designated $100,000 Dash for
Cash race.
Draws and prizing will occur as follows:
The contestant must correctly select the complete order of finish (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place,
4th place, 5th place, 6th place, 7th place, and 8th place). All CPMA rules and regulations apply.
In the event the contestant does not correctly select the official order of finish in the designated
race of $100,000 Dash for Cash, the prize will be carried over to the next available race card for
the duration of the promotion period.
In the event there is one late scratch in the $100,000 Dash for Cash designated race, the contest
will continue provided there are eight (8) horses in the field. If there are fewer than eight (8)
horses in the field the contest is void for that particular event. In the case of the contest being
void prior to the selection of the contestant, a draw will take place from the ballots collected
prior to race eight (8) for a chance to win a $10 Experience Voucher from Red Shores. If the
contest is void after race eight (8) the contestant that was chosen will win a $10.00 Experience
Voucher.
CONTEST PERIOD
This contest will commence on [June 10th 2017] and will end if the $100,000 Dash for Cash on
[September 4th 2017]. Upon the contest ending, the opportunity to win the $100,000 prize will
expire.

Prizes
In the event the contestant correctly selects the complete order of finish in the designated race
of $100,000 Dash for Cash (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, 5th place, 6th place, 7th place
and 8th place), the contestant will win $100,000. All CMPA rules and regulations apply. The
complete order of finish will be determined by racing officials with the Atlantic Provinces
Harness Racing Commission.
In the event the contestant correctly selects the top four horses in their official order of finish
the participant will win $50.00 Experience Voucher from Red Shores.
In the event the contestant does not select any of the horses in their official order of finish, the
contestant will receive a $10.00 Experience Voucher for participating.
WINNER ELIGIBILITY
Potential winners need to be present in order to claim the prize and attempt to predict the
outcome of the designated race for a chance at winning the $100,000 prize.
In order to be declared an official winner, a winner must correctly answer a mathematical skilltesting question and sign a standard declaration and release form. This signature will act as
confirmation of contest eligibility and compliance with the contest rules. RED SHORES has no
obligation to award any substitute prize and/or award any prize for any incorrect skill testing
question.
The prize is non-transferable. All prizes are awarded as is, and cannot be substituted or
exchanged.
GENERAL RULES
1. All entries and/or ballots are the property of RED SHORES. Entries and/or ballots which have
been obtained or made through fraudulent means or which are illegible, altered, reproduced,
mutilated, or irregular, are subject to disqualification. RED SHORES and AL will not be
responsible for entries and/or ballots lost, destroyed, misdirected or delayed for any reason
whatsoever, or for any incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, technical malfunctions,
human or technical error.
2. No prize substitutions or equivalent cash payments will be made, except for RED SHORES’ right,
at its sole discretion, to make a prize substitution or cash payments of equivalent kind and
value. Except as specifically provided herein, a prize, if unclaimed, will not be awarded.
3. Participation in this promotion authorizes RED SHORES the right to publish the claimant’s name,
address and/or photograph without any claim for broadcasting, printing or other rights. The
claimant shall have no claim against RED SHORES for invasion of privacy, infringement of
copyright or otherwise by reason of the publication or broadcasting of the Claimant’s name,
address and/or photograph.
4. RED SHORES reserves the right to verify the full legal name of the claimant with the information
on the selected ballot form. To claim the prize, government issued photo identification,
acceptable to RED SHORES, is required.
5. RED SHORES is not responsible for commencing, continuing or completing the “$100,000 Dash
for Cash Promotion” or awarding prizes in the event of circumstances beyond RED SHORES’ or
AL’s control, and RED SHORES may, at its sole discretion, change or alter this promotion, as RED
SHORES deems necessary.
6. All references to times and dates reflect Atlantic Standard Time.
7. These Official Rules and Regulations govern the promotion and must be followed and by
agreeing to participate in the promotion, all contestants agree to comply with, and be bound by
these Official Rules and Regulations.
***:The Racing Manager or Senior Supervisor of Racing plus a Red Shores Broadcaster will be
required to sign, witness and date including time, of the chosen race selection – order of finish
(1 to 8).
This signed, witnessed and times selection sheet to be scanned and emailed to local broker (our
office) and London Broker (or Underwriter) a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the selected Prize
Race. A return email to be sent to the racetrack to confirm receipt and acceptance. If internet
lines are down and/or not working, an immediate telephone call must be made to local US Loss
Adjuster to confirm entry/selection for the race.
