Last month, we told you about the initiative to raise funds to purchase water for our neighbors in Flint. Our employees donated money to wear jeans to work on two specified Fridays and we encouraged our members to join in as we collected water at each of our branches. That’s right. We have just added some enhancements to both our online banking and mobile banking systems that make accessing your Wildfire information easier. On Thursday, March 17th, in partnership with Hidden Harvest, Wildfire delivered 7 pallets of water to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Seven pallets of water equals 11,520 bottles of water! Here are some pictures we took of our delivery. • You can now hit “GO” on your mobile keyboard for the username and password fields to login, instead of having to manually click the “submit” button Online Banking • To make it easier to identify your Wildfire VISA, the last four digits of your card will now display • Want to sign up for E-statements – it’s easy through Online Banking and your email address. Mobile Banking • Just like in Online banking, the last four digits of your card will now display, making it easier to identify your VISA card • Links are now available on the Account Details for loan payments • Links are now available for transfers on Share/Savings • ScoreCard points are now available through the mobile app. Just select VISA Loan and click the button for “View ScoreCard Points” Wildfire Credit Union’s 79th Annual Meeting Recap Our members gathered on Saturday, February 27th for the 79th Annual Meeting of Wildfire Credit Union. 2015 marked another great year of growth at the credit union, especially in the growth of new members and loans, both were record numbers. Joan’E Farwell Jenna Schrumpf At the Annual Meeting, Director Joan’E Farwell retired from her board responsibilities and moved to Director Emeritus status. Associate Board Member Jenna Schrumpf was elected by the membership to the board position vacated by Farwell. Paul Sudhoff was re-elected to another term on the board. Officers were elected immediately following the meeting. Returning as Chairman of the Board is Rod Francis. Also re-elected to Vice Chairman is Paul Sudhoff. David McGrain was re-elected Secretary and Ken Volker was elected Treasurer. Jeanelle Smith Appointed Associate Board Member Jeanelle Smith Shred Day We are again hosting the ever-popular “Shred Day” on Thursday, May 19th. The truck will be at our Bay Road Branch from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. You are welcome to bring your personal documents (no businesses, please) that you want shredded and can even watch them go through the machine if you wish. Please note you are limited to 4 grocery size bags or boxes. Jeanelle Smith joined the board as an Associate Board Member in February 2016. Smith is a life-long resident of Saginaw, obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Grand Valley State University and is a sales analyst for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. She is active in the Saginaw Chamber of Commerce, Saginaw Township Schools, Ephesus SDA Church and her sons’ travel soccer teams. Smith, along with her husband and kids reside in Saginaw Township.
