To talk about plans or things that someone intends to do in the future. 2. Use future words like tomorrow. Example: I am starting classes next week. 6 RULE: 1. Use it to talk about actions, feelings, or situations that began and ended in the past. (yesterday, last night, two months ago) 2. Regular verbs are form by adding –ed to the verb. 3. Irregular verbs have their forms of past tense. 4. BE verb in the past is WAS and WERE. 5. The auxiliary word is DID. Example: Mark realized that he wasn’t happy.
