There is no guarantee of conference rates or room availability for accommodations before or
after the November 3-8 period.
How do I register for the conference?
All participants must register online on or before October 21, 2011. If you have questions
regarding registration, please contact Ms. Renee Latimer, ADEA Meetings Manager, at 202289-7201, ext. 185.
Members of the ADEA Council of Deans and deans of Canadian dental schools are assessed
an annual conference fee for the attendance of the dean and one additional person. ADEA will
invoice each institution for the assessment with its membership renewal.

Will there be CE given for the ADEA Deans’ Conference?
ADEA will email a conference participant evaluation to you following the close of the
conference. If you would like to earn continuing education (CE) credit for your participation in
the 53rd Annual ADEA Deans’ Conference, then you must complete this participant evaluation in
full, including providing your name on the final screen, and submit it prior to the November 30,
2011, deadline. CE Verification Letters will be emailed to recipients in early December. Please
remember to check your inbox and your spam folder for a message from ADEA regarding the
participant evaluation and CE Verification Letter.
Into which airport should I fly? How do I get to and from the airport?
ADEA recommends that you fly to and from the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW).

Driving directions to the hotel from Southwest Florida International Airport (approximately 30
minutes):
Follow signs out of the airport to I-75 South. Travel south on the interstate for approximately 30
minutes to exit 107 (Pine Ridge Road). Turn westbound (right) on Pine Ridge Road and travel
approximately 4.5 miles. Pine Ridge Road becomes Seagate Drive after you cross U.S. 41.
Continue west on Seagate. This will take you to The Naples Grande Resort entrance.
What should I wear?

“Tapas” presentation and preparation with you to share with your friends and family on any

Tapas:
Originally the Spanish used pieces of bread to cover their glasses of wine in the field from dust
and flies. In Andalusia people began placing food onto the pieces of bread thus the “Tapas” was
born. Over the years it has evolved into one of the hottest food trends in Europe as well as the
Americas.

ADEA does not allow children to attend any conference functions. If children accompany a
participant to the conference, arrangements should be made for their supervision.
