PHOTOGRAPHIC CONTINUOUS TONE PAPERS
:Rapitone P1 and P2 are photographic continuous tone papers coated on a waterproof,
polyethylene base. They are highly sensitive, orthochromatic and suitable for enlargement and
contact work. The papers are available in four gradations (1 = soft, 2 = semi-matt, 3 = normal, 4 =
hard) and two surfaces (1 = white glossy, 2 = white semi-matt).

• In repro-departments of large photographic companies.
• In printing companies with a photographic department of their own.
• In aerial photography and photogrammetry, for making enlargements for rectifications, for contact
copies in automatic contact frames and for making mosaics.
• In microphotography, in research departments of universities and hospitals.

For making prints from negatives with a higher N.D.-range than indicated, use :Rapitone M2.
„ Production guidelines
Storage
In a cool and dry place. When the packaging has been opened, the :Rapitone P1 and P2 papers
have to be kept in their own inner- and outer packaging, in order to protect them against the
influence of light and humidity.
Darkroom lighting
Bright red (R6) or yellow-brown (Y9) filter over a 15W incandescent lamp at a distance of 1.25 m
from the paper for maximum 8 minutes, or an EncapSulite R10 filter.
Exposure
In contact frames or enlargers.
