100th Anniversary Fair Coin Available
The Washington Parish Fair Associations announces the arrival of their silver coins
commemorating the 100th anniversary of the fair. Only 500 coins were
ordered and fair officials expect them to sell quickly. The coin is engraved with
the image of the Knight cabin on one side and the picnic basket on the other side.
It comes in a velveteen presentation box complete with a certificate of
authenticity. Each coin will sell for $50.00 and is stamped .999 (one ounce of pure
silver).
Coins may be purchased at the Capitol One Bank in Franklinton and in Bogalusa at
