Komen Foundation, US Green Building Council’s Veterans Assistance Program and the American Cancer Society. Visitors to the Sept. 28-30 show at TD Convention Center can ‘vote’for their favorite design vignette by making a donation to the designer’s chosen charity. For Bogari, the goal is to create sophisticated, elegant, yet comfortable living space by mixing textures and finishes and adding an unexpected twist of color, according to owner and lead designer Ivet Ivanona.“Our design promotes a sleek, spacious and simple environment for family and guests to enjoy total relaxation,”Ivanova says. At the ID Studio Interiors vignette, visitors will get a peek at what designer and co-owner Amy Emery has done in her own home. Design elements include: fun pillows that add color, texture, and pattern; a Persian Rug with rich colors and pattern grounding the room; a distressed and reclaimed wood coffee table; and Mid Century modern inspirited chairs and accessories. “We’ve utilized brands and designs that we recommend to our clients,”said ID Studio Interiors Principal Kim Jackson. “A cozy rich paint color, local art and a fireplace as a focal point create a livable feeling for friends, family and pets.” The Galleries of Brian Brigham describes its design space as‘new age meets vintage with an industrial flair.’“Our design is a departure from what you typically see at The Galleries of Brian Brigham,” said owner and designer Brian Brigham Lehman.“It’s an unexpected look that you can have a lot of fun with.” SH Designs also will offer a Builders and remodelers at the Fall Southern Home & Garden Show that meet the Home Builders Association of Greenville’s new standards of membership will have an‘HBA Approved’logo posted in their booths. The new standards are designed to differentiate HBA members from others in the marketplace and help consumers select qualified home building and home improvement professionals and assure consumers that doing business with a member of the HBA of Greenville is a good investment. Under our new guidelines, a builder or remodeler applying for membership in the HBA of Greenville must: • Be licensed by the State of South Carolina as a Residential Builder or General Contractor. • Keep the company’s HBA account current, including dues. new perspective, designing a study that is‘old but new’and includes masculine and feminine touches.“Staying timeless with neutrals, we’ve also added in a color most people would stay away from,”said owner and lead designer Sandy Hankins. • Be in business for one or more years. • Be free of unresolved judgments for one year. • Maintain General Liability insurance of at least $1 million. • Maintain Workers Compensation insurance consistent with state law. • Offer a minimum of a one-year warranty on each home built, on additions to homes, and on remodeled homes when mechanical systems are replaced. • Use a written contract in all business with consumers. Companies that meet these standards for membership will be designated as an Approved Professional Builder or Approved Professional Remodeler, with criteria verified by HBA staff on an annual basis. “And repurposed things are my deal, so we’ll use a mix of interesting items.” In addition to the design booths, our designers will host a Designers Sample Sale on the show floor offering at or below wholesale pricing on furniture and home accessories.
