1. Check Internal Temperature: Display will indicate temperature measured by
internal temperature sensor.
Press the INT/EXT Button.
Screen display will show “IN”
2. Check External Temperature: Display indicates temperature measured by
external temperature sensor
Press the INT/EXT Button.
Screen display will now show
“OUT” which is the external
sensor

3. View the Maximum Temperature of Internal Sensor: Display will show the
maximum temperature recorded by the thermometer’s internal sensor
Press the MIN/MAX button
Screen display will show MAX
on the left hand side of the
screen
4. View the Minimum Temperature of Internal Sensor: Display will show the maximum
temperature recorded by the thermometer’s internal sensor
Press the MIN/MAX button
Screen display will show MIN
on the left hand side of the
screen

4.1 Repeat the process to view Minimum and Maximum temperatures of the
External Temperature Sensor. Press the INT/EXT button so you can see OUT on
the screen display.
5. Minimum and Maximum Memory: Once you have specified your critical
temperature parameters, the Min/Max thermometer will take a “snapshot” reading
every 10 seconds and display will show these updated readings.
5.1 Press the MIN/MAX button to display Maximum temperature memory
5.2 Press the MIN/MAX button again to display Minimum temperature
memory
Note: to reset Min/Max memory, press the MIN/MAX button and hold for one
second. You will hear a “beep” which indicates that it has been reset
6. High/Low Temperature Alarm Setting – External Sensor Only

The HIGH/OUT icon will

6.1 Now using the C/°F button located on the rear of the thermometer to set
the desired alarm high limit. By pressing this red button, you will see the values
advance on the front display.

6.2 Once you have set your required temperature limit, press the ALARM/SET
button once more and now the LOW/OUT icon will be flashing

6.3 Now use the C/°F button again to set the desired alarm low limit

Note: If temperature goes outside your specified parameters, an audible alarm will
sound, thus prompting corrective action to be taken. Press any button to stop this
alarm.

7. To turn backlight on: press LIGHT button to turn on the backlight display
