Dr Foo Yin Fah holds a PhD in accounting from Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia. He is a
member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and a Fellow of CPA Australia. Dr Foo has more than twenty years of experience in the
accounting profession, working in several accounting firms, corporations and academic institutions.
He currently holds the position of Head, Department of Accounting and Finance at the Sunway
University Business School. His research interest lies in the area of corporate governance and
financial reporting.
Teaching Experience:
Dr Foo Yin Fah’s teaching interests are in the area of financial reporting, accounting theory and
management accounting. He has taught accounting at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels
including MBA. Dr Foo currently teaches ACC2014 Financial Accounting at the Sunway University
Business School.
