The best access to the ICE AGE route is at 2900m, between the top station of the Magnetköpfl lifts and the valley station of the glacier shuttles. This
1200 m route runs under the Gipfel lift, through the entire cirque. After a steep slope there is a flatter incline which is followed by another steep
slope in the middle of the run. This run then joins the no.2 piste which leads to the Sonnenkar lifts.

The WEST SIDE STORY is not only the most western Freeride slope, it is also the longest route on the Kitzsteinhorn.
It starts at the Kristall lift top station. You have to ride across high up in the beginning – snowboarders need a lot of speed – to have the
whole snow field lying below you.

The LEFT WING starts to the left (looking at the peak) of the Gletscherjet II and the Langwied lift.
It begins steeply, crosses the piste (be careful of others!) and comes out again on the Freeride paradise of the Langwied terrain. The finest
powder or hard concrete is awaiting you, depending on the winter conditions.

The JUMP RUN is the most popular amongst the locals. The fun-factor is the finest here, with its natural pipes and kickers!
The route crosses from the no. 12 piste out into open terrain and then gets bumpy. It has been made famous by the X OVER RIDE

One needs powerful thighs here. The PIPE LINE is the shortest route but can be pretty spiteful and bumpy.
However, with the right balance, this terrain, with its natural pipes, can become a team mate. The comfortable thing about this route is
that it ends right at the bottom station of the Langwied lift.
