PIET QUEST- 2016
General Information:
(1) PIET Quest is an event organized by our college to explore, encourage and award the
budding talent. We adjudge and recognize their caliber and hard work through the
process of quiz contest.
(2) The winner’s of the event are awarded various prizes and scholarships.
(3) The students in this overall process are exposed to various career options through
seminars and counseling sessions, conducted by the professionals.
(4) The reprentative of schools will be felicitated by momento’s and gifts at PIET.
(5) The best school among all the schools will also be awarded and felicitated.
Round 1:- (At School Premises)
(1) The 1st round of the event is an offlline test conducted at the respective school premises.
(2) The test consists of thirty multiple choice questions to be completed within the duration
of 30 minutes.
(3) The test for science stream students will be based on questions from Physics, Chemistry
and Maths as per their syllabus studied.
(4) Separate question papers will be there for the class 11th and the 12th class students.
(5) The test for Commerce and Arts students will consist questions on Quantitaive Aptitude,
English, Reasoning and GK.
(6) The test shall be conducted by the school teachers or the faculty members from our
institute as per the time and dates convenient to the school.
(7) The test will be OMR based and will be evaluated by the PIET faculty members.
(8) After the declaration of result, shortlisted and selected candidates for the 2nd round will
be intimated to the school authorities.
(9) The certificates for the students qualfiing 1st Round shall be handed over to the respective
schools and further details for the next rounds will be intimitated to the school.
Round 2 & Final Round: - (At PIET, Panipat)
(1) The Round 2 is an online test and will be conducted at PIET.
(2) Date for 2nd and final round will be intimitated to schools.
(3) Only the qualfied students of Round 1 are eligible to take part in second rounds.
(4) Transportation facility, pickup and drop from respective schools will be provided by
PIET.
(5) The students will be escortd by teachers from respective schools and faculty members of
PIET.
(6) The Students will be provided proper refreshment and lunch in the college.
(7) Online test of the Second round will be of 30 minutes having multiple choice questions.
(8) After the completion of 2nd round only the qualified students will go for the final round.
Final Round
(1) The qualified students of round 2 will be taking part in the Main Quiz which is an on the
stage event.
(2) The students will be divided into respective teams.
(3) The quiz will be conducted by a famous Quiz Master in front of many eminent guests and
personalities.
(4) The winners of the quiz will be awarded prizes and Scholarships.
