and Clare for their technical
assistance and to the FOH
team, who worked so
tirelessly, during a very busy

As you can imagine we
love every opportunity to
let Stockport know about
what NK are doing and to
showcase the immense
talent we have within our
Youth Theatre. So when
we were offered a slot to
perform at Romiley
Summer Festival we of
course jumped at it and
thought it would be a
fabulous opportunity to
showcase this wonderful
show right on our very own
doorstep! We will be
meeting at the entrance to
the park (on the corner
near the school) at
12.45pm, the performance
will last 20-30 minutes and
we ask that as many cast
members as possible
attend so get this date in
your diary now! Hopefully
the weather will be nice
and sunny! Please note:
there is a letter about this
on the back of backstage
with an attendance slip
attached. Please make
sure you fill that in and give
it back to us asap so we
know exactly which
members will be in
attendance.
ALSO, we have been
given a stall at the
festival to be able to
promote the company
and the upcoming shows
and events we have
going on, Little Mermaid,
Disney show and
Summer School. If there
are any parents who
could give up an hour of
their time between 11am
and 3pm to come and
stand on the stall and
hand out leaflets, chat to
people about the
company etc plus look
after our Mickey and
Minnie, then please
speak to Dawn
DONATIONS: As
Mentioned also in last
months Backstage, We are
hoping this year to be able
to create four fabulous
hampers that we will be
able to raffle each
performance. But we need
your help in order to do
this. We are currently
taking donations of items
such as toiletries, bottles of
wine, chocolates, biscuits,

sweets etc that we will then
collate in to four baskets
and raffle off during the
show. We obviously want
to make these hampers as
fabulous as possible so we
are looking for as many
donations as possible to
pop in to them, along with
a pair of tickets for the
upcoming Disney show
“Tale As Old As Time”!
Please pop your donations
in a bag which is labelled
with your child’s name and
hand them to a member of
staff or to the box office.

TO AN END!
Our annual Disney show is
back! And this year it is
appropriately named, “Tale
As Old As Time”!
Come and join all your
favourite Disney characters
as they embark on another
adventure with the help of
Mickey and Minnie Mouse!
Will they have TIME to save
everyone from the terrible
villains? Will the clock strike
MIDNIGHT before they can
solve the riddle? Will the
White Rabbit ever be
Tuesday 18th July! 5.30 –
7pm for Juniors and 78.30pm for Seniors! This
year we have decided to
have a FANCY DRESS
themed party (for both age
groups!) and the theme is
“DISNEY, HEROS, VILAINS
AND FAIRYTALES! So
make sure you have an outfit
ready! Don’t worry, if you
don’t have a fancy dress
costume just come in your
party clothes!!! After that
there will be no more
workshops until September!
Finally, just so everyone is
aware, Once the week of the
show is done there will be
NO MONDAY
WORKSHOPS until
September! The final
Tuesday workshop of the
season, which is our End of
Season Party will be on
