Leave M60 (still on some maps as M62) at Junction 17
Take the A56 road (Bury New Road) for Salford
Follow the A56 for three miles, at the eighth set of traffic lights (junction of Great Cheetham
Street/Bury New Road) turn right. (Landmark Broughton Baths)
Go through two sets of traffic lights and at the roundabout take the last exit onto Littleton Road
Proceed for approximately ½ mile and turn left into Ayrshire Road (the seventh turning on left)
Entrance to training ground is at the end of Ayrshire Road
OR, From M60 Take M602- Manchester
At lights at end of M602 get into left hand lane. Take 1st exit on Roundabout A5063 Albion Way.
Through 1st set of lights, for 2nd set of lights, get into middle lane; turn left (all three lanes turn left)
onto A6 Broad Street.
Through two sets of lights, get into left hand lane; take slip road SP A576 Bury. At Roundabout take
3rd exit, A576 Broughton Road/Cromwell Road.*
Through lights and Pelican, pass Shell Filling Station to Roundabout straight across on to Lights.
At Roundabout take 2nd exit onto Littleton Road
Proceed for approximately ½ mile and turn left into Ayrshire Road (the seventh turning on left)
Entrance to training ground is at the end of Ayrshire Road
*There may be road works on Broughton Road/Cromwell Road, if so, follow the diversion signs
back down the slip road. Then turn left at the traffic lights onto Frederick Road, turn left onto
Lissadel Street turn right back onto Cromwell Road and follow as above.
