Sealed Bids/ Tenders are invited for following works at Varanasi for
manufacturing 1200 Ton Glass Rod & Bead per annum from experienced
manufactures/ suppliers/ Contractors :

Bidders are expected to submit proposals separately for technical and financial
bids. Parties qualifying in technical Bid/ Tender will be considered for financial bid/
tender. Bid/ Tender should reach electronically or in hard copy in the office CEO BIDA,
Bhadohi on or before 27.03.2010 by 05.00 p.m. The Bid/ Tender will be opened before
tender committee authorized or headed by Director of Industries U.P. on 29.03.2010 at
11.00 A.M. at D.I. Office G.T. Road Kanpur or another day which will be communicated
separately. The Bid/ Tender has to be accompanied with a Demand Draft @ 2 % of the
offer as earnest money . Bid/ Tender form can be taken from the BIDA office or may be
downloaded from website: http://www.bidabhadohi.com and tender cost will be paid at
the time of submitting tender by DD or cash. Tender committee will be the final authority
for accepting or rejecting the bid/ tender without assigning any reason .

Bhadohi Industrial Development Authority created by U.P. Government intends to
commission a common facility centre (CFC) for manufacturing of high quality Glass rod
and Glass tube and processing of beads at village Karnadandi- Varanasi with a capacity
of producing 1.200 metric tom per annum. This CFC will be used by Micro and Small
scale units located in Varanasi at a agreed usage of Rs 80/- per Kg. for raw beads.

The Bidder shall have experienced Civil , Electrical and Mechanical Engineer , either
working with them or associated with them.
2.
The Bidder shall have qualified project management team of professional to handle
such project in a time bound period .
3.
The Bidder shall have all logistics for handing machines and equipments at site.
4.
The Bidder shall have experienced man power for installation of machine and
equipments.
5.
The Bidder shall have sound financial backing through their banker.
6.
The Bidder/ Contractor shall have to submit three envelopes containing earnest
money, technical bid and financial bid. Financial bid will be opened in the last only for
those bidders who qualify in technical bid.
7.
The bidders must have Vat registration & PAN No of Income Tax.
