S BI RT MEETING DATES SCREENING ● BRIEF INTERVENTION ● REFERRAL TO ASSESSMENT ● FOLLOW-UP In order to maximize the amount of incentive funds programs are able to draw down in the forthcoming SB533 contract, we need to have an aggressive timeline launching SBIRT. Please note the following dates and participate whenever you are able: Date Activity Comments There is a meeting scheduled on October 7th to review completed Tools with CHI to identify next steps. While we’d like the documents by Wednesday, we’ll accept them until Friday at 12noon. Wednesday, October 5th By 5pm Please email your completed SBIRT Planning Tools documents to Betsy at [email protected] and Nico at [email protected] Wednesday, October 19 10am to 12noon Meeting intended for “early adopters” of SBIRT to get together and review results of Planning Tools to identify how the Network can move forward to select a tool and pilot it among programs. Wednesday, November 16 9:30 to 10:30am Meeting intended for “early adopters” of SBIRT to address current progress, barriers, etc. This is scheduled for an hour BEFORE the normal bi-monthly NHJCDN meeting. At the end of our grant year (June 30), there may be additional incentive funds that were not drawn down, which may be made available proportionally to programs that served additional youth due to successful outreach efforts. We still need to address data collection and billing to ensure invoicing for SBIRT incentives is as simple as possible. More information to follow.
