COED Golf League
League Meeting – April 13, 2017 – 6:30 PM

If you are looking for a 9-hole non-competitive golf league that is fun and
includes some goofy tournaments, you have found it here. We are looking
for couples (married or not), neighbors, singles or just a golfer who wants
to get ready for a big weekend of play.
Because this league is so popular, we must limit membership to the FIRST
100 paid entries. If your application is received after we are full, you will be
placed on the wait list. When we have an opening, you will be contacted to
see if you are still interested in joining the league. Previous COED League
members have until March 24th to rejoin. New member entries will be
accepted after that date. All entries must be mailed and are accepted
based on the postmark date on your envelope.
We play Thursday evenings with a shotgun start at 5:30 pm. May and
September we shotgun at 5:15pm.
Annual membership is $50 per person and green fees (9 holes) are
$33 per person w/cart. Green fees are paid to the golf course.

 Each member of the COED League must pay a $50 membership fee. This fee includes tournament
prizes and food. COED members will also receive a 10% discount on pro shop merchandise this
year.
 Starting in 2017 the Red Hawk COED League will be limited to 72 players per week. This is based
on a first-come-first-served basis. Once this limit has been reached a wait list will be created and
you will be notified if there is a cancellation.
 Every week you play, you must check-in at the pro shop and pay the $33 fee per player.
 The Pro-Shop person will mark you as playing that night and they will ask you if you are playing
the next week or not. If you are not sure, tell them no then you have until TUESDAY NOON that
next week to reserve your spot.
 If you have indicated that you are playing but something comes up and you can't make it, please
contact Jim and Keith (via email) as soon as possible prior to Thursday. If you have to cancel last
minute on Thursday, please contact the Red Hawk pro shop (720-733-3500).
 The same holds true if you want to play and did not sign up the week before, you must contact
Jim and Keith via email by TUESDAY NOON in order to get on the tee sheet that week. Any
emails received after TUESDAY NOON will be subject to availability, based on the number of
players already registered.
 If you have not played for a couple of weeks and want to play, please contact Jim and Keith as
soon as possible to get on the list to play that week. TUESDAY NOON rule still applies.
 Guests are welcome June through September based on availability (see #2 above). You must give
us the names of your guests to get them on the tee sheet. Guests must check-in and pay $33 on
the night they play. Guests can play in tournaments as well, but must pay a guest fee of $20 (cash
or check) to the league to participate. Guest fee checks need to be made out to Jim DePinto
 In the event of uncertain weather, here is what you do:
o If we have positive knowledge that it is raining, heavy rain is forecasted or the course is on
"cart path only", you will get an email by 3:30 pm saying that we are rained out for that
night. You will need to reserve your spot(s) for the next week by emailing Jim and Keith by
TUESDAY NOON of the next week.
o If the weather is questionable, you can call the course and ask what they are forecasting
for play that night. Please remember that the weather is difficult to predict in Colorado
and the league policy is to play if we can.
o If we have cancelled the league for that night and you still want to play, check with the pro
shop.
o The Pro Shop number is 720-733-3500 and then press option 4.
 Anything not covered in the above rules will be decided upon by Jim DePinto or Keith Simpson
and one of the course professionals. All decisions are final.
